My friend was using my washer and didnt push the knob in before moving the timer to the cycle she wanted to go to. While she was moving the knob through the cycles she let it go on permanent press spin cycle-she quickly moved it from there to the cycle she wanted. Now the washing machine is not working..Did she mess up the timer when she incorrectly moved the knob and is there a way to reset it so it will work again?

If you raise your lid about 3/4 and look on the washer itself under that hinge area there is a tage with the model number on it.
