Washer Repair

It gives no error code but show 3 dashes instead. I can turn it on and off and that is all. If I attempt to push any other buttons it makes dinging noises. I tried to run the diagnostic test but it would not do that even. I have tried unplugging it and plugging it back in and I get the same results. I checked all the connections and hoses and it worked fine yesterday....

There are six people living in my house and the laundry will pile up quickly if I cannot find a way to get it working. My warranty expired last year so any inexpensive ideas would be very helpful.

Very likely the problem is a bad center interface board (#10 on the diagram). Unfortunately this part is pretty expensive.
