This is a pretty recent model that I have not worked on, but have worked on earlier versions.
I would start by replacing the door lock assembly as it sounds like your may be a mechanical problem, and even if it is not the door lock assemblies have been a problem on these models. If you order from this site (no, we who respond are not part of APP) you may be able to return the part if it does not fix things, see the returns policy.
