no spin
Model Number: gtf1040aso Brand: Gibson Age: 1 - 5 years
My front load washer will not spin (all other functions seem to work) so I bought a new belt! ITS NOT THE BELT!! So what next? Ron

It could be the motor control board or the motor itself. Remove the bottom panel and locate an envelope with the tech sheets. Perform the troubleshooting according to instructions from the tech sheets.

If you can read the tech sheet it will help you sounds like it could be a motor or motor control issue. When it comes to most front load washers and problems like yours I recommend havine a certified tech look at it.
