washer won't start
Model Number: GLTF1240AS0 Brand: Frigidaire Age: 1 - 5 years
Front loading washer- with door closed the door lock light comes on (and cycle selector is pulled/on) but machine won't start. It just makes a loud buzzing noise.

You will need a meter to check things. Pull off lower panel and locate the service sheet. It will show a chain diagram for no start conditions. Start checking all components in the chain. You can get any parts by clicking on your model # above.
