kenmore front load washer drum off balance and bangs in one location
Model Number: 417-431423 Brand: Kenmore Age: 1 - 5 years
the drum in my washer goes off balance, it seems in one location and bangs against the sides. How do i figure out if it's springs, shocks or the shell (or something else)?

Go to appliancepartspros.com for take apart info and check your shocks and springs. You can get parts by clicking on your model # above.

More Than Likely The Drum Mount Is Broke In The Back. This Is Common On These Machines. Gam Ahold Of One Edge Of The Drum As You Rotate It To Several Different Positions. If The Drum Mount Is Broke It Will Move To The Side In One Position But Not In The Other. The Drum Is Mounted On A Bracket On 3 Locations. If This Is It, It Should Have A 25 Year Warrenty But Not For Labor.
