Model Number: FWT645RHS0   Brand: Frigidaire   Age: 5 - 10 years

I have a frigidaire frontload washer that every 1-2 loads, the belt slips off. I don't see any kind of tensioner. Is there supposed to be one and maybe it broke off? The belt appears to be in good shape and not stretched but it goes on and off too easy. Any advice is appreciated. Thanks.

Very likely it happens because of the drum and motor pulleys misaligned due to a bad rear tub bearing.

Open the door and manually check how the inner tub is moving up & down and side to side.

Thank you for your help. I think that may be the problem but it looks like that part is about $200 because you have to buy the entire assembly.

Yes, it is expensive. The spider can be damaged too and it can make the cost of repair over $400.
