My admiral washer will not go to spin cycle during normal operation.
However after the cycle has completed and the knob is set to spin it spins and drains the tub. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated

Does the timer knob advance by itself during normal operation?

Yes timer knob goes thru the entire cycle

Possible the problem is a bad timer.
