My washer is an Admiral Designer Series Heavy Duty 20 lb / 2 speed machine. On the permanent press cycle (6 minute) quick wash, the 1st spin cycle does nothing. It should drain, and spin refil agitate, drain and rinse again. But it does nothing on the 1st spin cycle, the timer goes, and then it just begins agitating again... Any ideas???

I have the same washer and same similar problem, can anyone help?

The machine will fill, then it starts to agitate on normal speed for just a split second then stops. It will agitate for about 3-4 seconds on slow speed. At this point nothing happens until the final spin cycle, at which point it will drain and spin out, leaving soap and dirt.
