My GE washer will agitate just fine as long as I don't have clothes in it however, when I put a load into the washer it agitates very slow. It was squeaking but has since stopped. We've checked the splines and they seem to be okay. We cleaned it and then put the agitator back in and tried again and it did the same thing. Fine agitation with nothing in it and very poor agitation with a load of clothes in the washer. I'm not sure what the problem is at this point. Help please. Thanks.:)

Try replacing the belt if worn.
