My landlord fixed a leak in the drainage. Today I did a small load of laundry and everything looked fine. I then tried to do a large load and the water would enter the tub but not fill and not agitate. No temperature or wash setting made a difference. What's wrong?

Sounds like your large load created a siphon effect. Raise the drain hose where it goes into the drain pipe and make sure nothing is sealing the drain hose where it goes into the drain pipe.

That should do it.
