I have a front loading washer that will not spin, just makes a grinding noise. I have removed the back panel and the belt is fine and move freely and quietly. Also, I do not have a digital output so my error code is a series of flashing lights. I am getting error code E30 however I may be reading this incorrectly as I do not believe this relates to my model. FYI, the 5 vertical lights blink 3 times and the ‘start’ button light does not blink. So, when I try to spin it make a grinding like noise. Later I will try to isolate this noise. However, does any one have a idea what this could be. Thanks

Gene, thank you for your help. I didn't think I was reading it correctly. Now, I am getting error code E41.

This error code leads to the door latch problem, but the noise issue can be much more serious.
Gene.
