Washing machine will not fill with water on start cycle. It just wants to agitate in this position, and any other position I place the timer in. I replaced the timer about 6 months ago. I can not believe this can be bad already. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Seems like a contact in the timer welded shut. Remove the cover from the timer and check. If bad order it here AP3158943

Here is a service manual

Could be the contacts in the water level switch are welded together.
Though you should be able to get the unit to spin and since you cannot the timer itself is more likely.
