Model Number: GLTF2940ES2 Brand: Frigidaire Age: 5 - 10 years
I started a load and left the house. i returned home to find water in the bottom of the drum and most of the clothes only partially wet. I held the start and cancel button down together and received E59. After researching this it states that it could be the motor, the tub bearings, or the speed control board. I have also found some people who have changed out the door lock assembly and it has worked fine. well going through tests, i removed the belt and the motor pulley does spin. the tub pulley does not spin and seems to be locked in place. how do I check the tub bearings? do I still need to go through the rest of the test and check the pin ohms?

You should be able to move the tub pulley manually. If it does not move then the problem can be a bad bearing or a foreign object between the inner and outer tubs.
