Can someone explain the Automatic Diagnostic Program procedure to me for this model? Can it be run with just power to the machine or must it be totally hooked-up? I just bought this broken unit(very cheap) and was told I'd need a user interface board but wanted to check on it myself.

Here is the tech sheet for the model. It must be hooked up and ready to go to test it.
