I have a washer that makes a VERY loud squeaking noise when agitating. It does it at no other time during the cycles. When it has stopped (when I am not washing clothes), I can turn the inside tub with my hands and it makes the same noise leading me to believe that it is a loose/unoiled gasket? Someone told me that it is either the Brake or the Transmission and that I can tilt the washer up and take it apart from underneath to reach these areas. What parts do I need to replace/oil/grease, or is this another problem?
