I bought a new lid switch from you, but I dont know how to get the old one out. Help please.

Sears/Kenmore actually does not make anything and i have no way of cross referencing their model numbers to an actual manufacturer model, in this case Whirlpool.
So the following is a guess but perhaps it has the info you need to get to the switch.

You have to take the washer apart in order to replace the switch. You will have 5 small bolts from the back, take off the 2 side covers, take out the 2 screws and take off the 2 brackets. This will allow knob panel to come off back to lean back and front of washer to lean forward. The lid switch will be located on the left side on the front top of the washer.
