Default KitchenAid Trash compactor
KitchenAid Trash Compactor Model #KUCC151JBS0. After you hear it crushing the trash, it starts making an extremely loud banging, vibrating noise that does not stop and I need to turn it off. I can't see anything stuck inside on the top. Please help. Thank you.

Most likely the problem with your trash compactors is a bad push button switch on the control panel.

In order to provide the right part number I need the color of the control panel.

Here are the break down diagrams for the Kitchen Aid trash compactor Model KUCC151JBS0
