kitchenaid KCS100B compactor

My compactor has worked great up until today. When I push the start button the ram continues to go up and down, up and down, without stopping. I presume it is a broken switch of some sort. Any thoughts as to which switch , where can I get a replacement, a how do I perform the repair?

Trash Compactor Repair
