I am trying to remove a Tappan trash compactor that is in a tight space under the counter top. I don't care if i destroy the compator, but I don't want to damage the countertops. Something is stuck and I am taking it apart in place; I think there must be a screw or two holding the top part on but it is in the back where I cannot access it. If I knew where the screw(s) were, I could drill them out. I need to see how the compactor is out together. Dave
