It looks like the starter switch inside cannot be firmly attached with theoutside control knob securely.

Starter Switch Loose

The starter switch seems to be loose behind the control panel.

Should not the starter switch be secured to firmly catch the controlknob when installed?

When I turn control knob to start, the control knob does not catch thestarter switch inside but the compacting machine starts and makes loud noise.The compacting seems to work a little. When I turn the control knob to stopseveral times, the compacting stops.

However, I can only open the compactor about 10% and the rest is stuck.

Then by wiggling the control knob (start & stop few times) I was able toopen the compactor.

How do I repair this?
