Trash Master Hums
Model Number: TF8503XLP1 Brand: Whirlpool Age: More than 10 years
My compactor was stuck but I got it unstuck.But now when I turn it on the light doesnt come on and the motor just hums ,the cam doesnt move at all,Please Help !

I have the same problem. I replace the only broken part I could find. The two plastic tubes on the ram screws. I thought that would fix it, but now I just get a hum. Is the motor burned out?
