Cut cord and arced Kenmore compactor

Model Number: 13633100 Brand: Kenmore Age: 1 - 5 years

I was putting my Kenmore compactor in after replacing our kitchen. As I pushed it in, the bottom of the compactor cut the power cord and it arced. Now it won't run. I reset the circuit breaker and verified there is power to it. What can I do?

Did you check if the power cord is still good? Are you getting the 120v to the controls?
