Compactor Motor Wiring
Model Number: GE 5KH42CT36S (Motor) Brand: GE Age: 5 - 10 years
I purchased a used motor (removed from a GE compactor) to be used as a single speed, one direction drive for a drum sander. The info on the motor is as follows:
GE 5KH42CT36S Made in USA Code P AJR2Z 1/3 HP 115V 60~ 1Ø 6A 1725 RPM 70º C. Cont PCB122B Wire colors are: Red, Black, Orange, Blue, Yellow I can’t find any info on it from GE or the company that made GE's motors. Question #1 – Does this motor need a start/run capacitor? If so, what size? Question #2 – What is the wiring schematic for 110V, one speed, one direction? Question #3 - Please show wiring colors in schematic. Thanks, LM Ads By Google Related Models
