Toe bar on Kitchenaid won't function
Model Number: 9871915B Brand: Kitchen Aid Age: 1 - 5 years
The toe bar is hanging down flat, will not open trash compactor. Took off two small side screws on right hand side of toe bar. A small flat piece of metal with a bent rim for screw attachment fell off. Can not understand why the toe bar flopped down flat to stop opening door (before I took off two screws). Have care & use guide but no help or pictures of this part.
