Ram won't rise
Model Number: 1050 Brand: Broan Age: 1 - 5 years
I have a 12" Broan compactor and I've removed it, unplugged it, and detached the back panel. I used a large socket to turn the hex nut that drives the chain, but the ram just doesn't seem to be going anywhere. The chain isn't broken and the small sprocket at the top seems to be fine also. I just can't get the ram to move up. Any ideas?
