RAM will not return to UP position. Have determined a threaded plastic piece broke. Not sure which part to order, or how to remove the motor. Please help?!

I believe I have the same problem as my ram will not raise and if I keep the start button it starts to raise then slips and falls. Around the main sprocket gear I see some savings, looks like may be coming from plastic housing. Can anyone comment and help?
