Connecting start swithc
Model Number: TU4700XXP1 Brand: Whirlpool Age: More than 10 years
Attempting to replace start switch on trash compactor. It has 3 wires- yellow, purple and white. Where on the switch should each of these be connected? No info sent when purchased switch. Thanks for any help.

Is the replacement switch just like the original one?
Should just be a matter of installing the wires just like the what is on the old switch.
