Compactor Ram stuck in down position
Model Number: GCG1580 poss Brand: GE Age: 5 - 10 years
I replaced the small metal switch at the base of the door at the bottom on the right that activates the foot switch. What's happening is that when I activate with the foot switch the ram comes down (sounding as normal as usual) however it stays down and continues to run making a clicking sound. I don't know how to go about adjusting this. Please help.
