Whirlpool has a couple of different compactor designs. Post the model number.

Hi terik

There are two different kind of rollers on this trash compactor.
The first pair of rollers (#16 on the container brake down diagram) are attached to the rear part of the drawer (aka container).
The second pair of the rollers (#9 on the frame break down diagram) are attached to the body of the trash compactor, in the front.

In order to replace any of them you have to completely remove the drawer from the trash compactor. Also, to replace the front rollers you have to pull the trash compactor out of the cabinet for about 8" to get access to the nuts.

Good luck.
Gene.
