Exclamation Sears compactor won't move downward
Brand: Sears   Age: More than 10 years

Compactor just hums when turned on. I disassembled and moved ram down then restarted. It moves back up and stops, but won't go down when restarted. I assume this is a switch problem, but don't know where to look for it or how to correct it. Help, please!

After reading some posts and the Tech diagram included, I think it might be the Top Limit Directional Switch. anyone agree so I know to order that?
