Kitchenaid Trash Compactor
Model Number: kucc151lss0 Brand: Kitchen Aid Age: 5 - 10 years
I have a Kitchen Aid kucc151lss0 compactor that the door will not stay shut. It just keeps springing back out. I have taken out the tray and cleaned out everything. I see no debris sticking down and the rear spring that pushes the tray out seems tight. The bottom foot plate has a lot of play and it seems the screw holes are oblonged a little. Even if I try and hold the door in now and try to activate the compactor with the foot pedal, nothing happens. Any thoughts? Thanks in advance.
