GE Profile Trash Compactor GCG1540F0SS
(Serial Number VD970022M)
Our trash compactor has been making a bit of a grinding noise the past few days. Today, when my husband went to use it, the ram came down and made that same grinding noise, then stopped, ram down, and as the ram started back up, it started making a humming noise. It continually makes that humming noise with the ram partly down. He tried turning it back to start, it just makes that humming noise and the lights in the kitchen dims. We have it turned off so that it is not making that noise. Thank you for your help! Tamara
