Motor runs but the ram doesn't come up
Model Number: KUCS03FTSS Brand: Kitchen Aid Age: 1 - 5 years
Ram goes down, doesn't come up, even though the motor is running. Makes banging noises. Is it the drive gear or some type of bottom limit switch? It is not in solid pack. Had to remove the compactor and manually raise by turning the screws. (to remove trash)
