UPdated details - Green wire not attached

OK, so i looked at the wiring and think i know what is likely wrong.
4 wires go to the thermostat.
Red to R
Green to G
Purple to Y
Black to W

with thermostat on auto i have 24...

fuse blown on & burnt terminal on primary swithch

fuse blew the other day on Panasonic NN-P794wf.
i think primary switch #1 may be gone b/c the one wire on terminal connector is browned/melted plastic.
it needs a 18 or 20amp fuse. i can not...
