On most old style Whirlpool/Roper washers, the lid switch is a common problem. I make most of my side money that way, the lid switch is "sandwiched" together and glued, and a few good lid slams...

also....

after doing further inspection, i noticed it had a "membrane board" or pad, that was plugged into the circuit board and actually is the power button and all other controls.

would that be the bad...

GE 220v Window Unit won't come on

Someone gave me an 18000 BTU 220V GE Window Unit. It has a digital front, and it won't come on. No lights, no sound, nothing. I know the outlet is good because 2 multimeters say it is a live outlet....

as far as terminator, i meant the defrost termination thermostat (about the size of a quarter or nickel, bout 1/2-3/4 inch thick, 2 wires coming out of it).

now i am on to my next...
