sorry, the amps cannot be checked with an ohm meter. you will need a clamp on amp meter. if you know an electrician he will have one. if not, the ignitor may be cheaper than the meter. amp meters...

these codes mean that there is a loss of communication between the control board and the interface. check for loose wires between the two. you can also try turning off the breaker for about 10 mins....

you may have already covered this but make sure the ignitor is pulling at least 3 amps. any less and the coils will not open or hold open. the ignitor can still glow and be bad.
