I know you have answered this but not for a Samsung that has evaporator coils for both the frig and freezer.
I opened the freezer side up to see if the damper or coil was iced up but was unable to locat it. I opened the frig side and found a coil in there. So I was thinking I just need to order a new fan. but when I pluged it back in and I found the frig working and freezer not working. I went to look at the freezer again.
After going back into the freezer to see what was wrong I found that I had forgotten to hook the fan back to the power. after plugging it back in I thought it would be fixed. No now the fan in the frig dosen't work.
What do you think it is? The Main Board?

I have the same typpe of problem. I opened up the freezer and found the fan iced up. My fan wouldn't work, it tried to come on but stoped. My frig side quit working about a month ago and now the freezer side quit. I was thinking my fan was bad. I will check the frig side and check out that fan.
Have you had any luck?

I just replaced the frig fan today. it is working. Hopefully it is repaired.
