I turned the wheel insiide the fridge to zero, to turn it off, to clean it.
After cleaning, I turned it back to 7. As I turn the wheel, at about 2 I hear the compressor kick in. I also feel air blowing inside from the fan.

However, it never cools. Single door model, with no freezer.

Where do I start with this?

Did you poke a hole in the evaporator.

Seriously...all I did was turn the wheel off to clean it, and now it won't cool. Never moved it, or poked around on anything.

What's the evaporator? And, I'd know if I "poked a hole in it", wouldn't i?

Anyone know how I troubleshoot this?

Your cold control may have stuck open. I would turn it off and on a few times and spray it with a non-residue contact cleaner.

Spray what? And where is this "cold control" that you speak of?

The control behind the knob you turned.

well, i hear it clicking fine when I turn the knob...but I'll see if that knob will slide off, and then I'll spray it and see if anything changes....
Thanx.

Ok, here's a picture of the knob.
When I turn the knob, and the compressor clicks on, the lights dim (flicker) just a bit, which makes me believe I'm getting good contact.
However, the knob slid right off.
Behind it is a plate with 4 screws, as you can see.
Are you suggesting I take those 4 screws out, and the plate off?

Your cold control is fine. Either your compressor is no longer compressing, you have a clogged capillary, or your freon leaked out.
