Model Number: JSD2789AES   Brand: Jenn-Air   Age: 5 - 10 years

ON THE CONTROL PANEL FOR ICE AND WATER, THE ELECTRIC CONTROL IS ON LOCK MODE. HOW DO YOU UNLOCK IT? THIS PANEL CONTAINS CUBED ICE, CRUSHED ICE, WATER AND A LOCK BUTTON. WE HAVE JUST REPLACED ALL OF THESE PARTS. ITS ALSO GIVING CRUSHED ICE ON THE CUBED SELECTION AND THE DOOR FLAPPER OCASSIONALLY OPENS TO DISPENSE ICE AND DISPENSES WATER IF ITS ON WATER. HELP. WHAT CAN I DO TO FIX THESE PROBLEMS?

Push and hold the "lock" button for 3-5 seconds or until it unlocks.

Which parts did you replace?

Here are the break down diagrams for the Jenn Air refrigerator Model JSD2789AES

Default katlee

I tried holding the lock button to unlock it but that didn't work.
We replaced the both cards (inner and outer), flapper assembly kit, water filter and the bracket. The ice never went from crushed to cubed and the flapper was opening and closing on its own. We had to put the old flapper back in because the new one was not designed like the new one.
This morning, after just one day, the inner card went out so we had to order a new one. Any other suggestions?
