I have a Kitchen Aid S by S (don't have the model in front of me right now) that the ice maker promptly stopped working after I had turned the water supply off to my house for 2-3 days (working on a leak). I checked for shut off obstructions (has an electric eye to detect ice hopper level) and shut power off/on to frig but still not making any ice. The unit is dry so it appears to be a water inlet problem. Could I have burned up a solenoid since the frig sat there with no water pressure for 2-3 days? Any help would be appreciated.
