How can I verify that I have a bad board?
My compressor has no power to it, and my evaporator fan has low voltage, but will not spin. There are four wires to the fan motor, is this a multi speed fan as well? I verified power to the board with a digital multi meter, and it had 115v. When I touch the board the compressor relay will energize the compressor but then shut it off again shortly after I let go. ( I made sure the inlet power did not fluxuate when I touched the board ) The display panel in the fridge is set for -6 in the freezer, and 34 in the fresh food, but I only maintain a 56 degree box. When the compressor runs I do get frost on the evaporator coil so I am sure it is full of gas. Can anyone help me? Ads By Google Related Models |
