We have a hotpoint HSS25IFMDWW side by side fridge freezer. Woke up yesterday to a puddle on floor and food defrosting... now fridge and freezer are warm :-( Not a repair man, but technically competent... initial observations are... fans running, but no vibration from compressor... ohmed out compressor... 1 winding = 2.6 ohms, other = 4.5 ohms... no shorts to ground. Overload switch = 0.1 ohms, and start 'relay' = 10 ohms Any sugestions to troubleshoot further? Need a fridge bad! 4 young kids, but can't afford a new one unless i have no other option
