Any brands not using Brazilian Tecumseh compressor
Brand: Maytag Age: 1 - 5 years
Is it a true statement that most consumer refrigerators are using Teccumseh compressors made in Brazil that will last only several years? The warranties have been shortened to one year on most brands. So is it wise to waste money on a fully loaded refrigerator that will fail like the 3 yr old Maytag I have sitting dead in my kitchen for the last month with no hope of repair even thou it has an extended warranty?
