Icemaker freezing up, now not working
Model Number: HSS251FMCWW Brand: Hotpoint Age: 5 - 10 years
In the past,the ice maker has been having ice form on the "paddle" on the ice maker assembly and stop making ice. I have always just removed the surrounding ice every few days and everything continued to work. Yesterday, there was no additional ice in the dispenser. I had to remove all of the accumulated ice from the assembly. After removing all the ice that I could find, the unit still does not produce ice. The green light beside the switch is now flashing on and off. Any ideas?
