Replacing Start Relay

Model Number: SCD23VL Brand: Amana Age: 5 - 10 years

Hi, after reading an article about possible failures from parts of fridge, I've come to the conclusion the Start relay is broken. The problem I'm having is getting the old one off. I have the cover off and does not seem to appear to have any screws holding it on. I'm thinking that prying it off would be the only option... but since it connected to the compressor, it doesn't seem like it would be a good idea in the event it breaks, it could have part of it stuck there or even worst, puncture it and have the R134a spray out.
