Intermittent warming freezer & frg
Model Number: AFD2535DEW Brand: Amana Age: 1 - 5 years
Freezer started acting up 10 days ago. Got warm. Called repairman, by the time he arrived 2 days later it had frozen again. 2 days after he left, same thing only this time the frig warm too. Took everything out. Symptom is that when the unit is making this clicking/buzzing noise, it's warming up and not functioning properly. Somehow it fixes itself for awhile, but I either need it broken when the repairman arrives, or be able to suggest some diagnostics or something to find out what's wrong.
Read a lot online about bad compressors, bad fans, bad dampers. Any ideas how to diagnose??
