I have a Kenmore refrigerator that is not making Ice. I checked the water valve and it had a bad solenoid, so I replaced it. After 24 hrs it still is not making Ice. I did check to see if the water line was stopped up and it is clear. The water tray in the ice maker was full when it stopped producing ice(still is and it is frozen ) The lever is in the correct position to make ice.
What can I check, or what might the problem be.

Thank you

ok here is where I am at .......... the water valve is fine .. I used a jumper wire to start the harvest cycle. At first it did nothing, then I tapped the gear on the module with my finger and it began to move. It moved part of the way then stopped , a slight tap and it moved thru the rest of the harvest cycle. It seems that it will not initiate this cycle without a slight tap on the gear to get it going now..... so is the module bad ?
