GE freezer makes ice fine but food is soft
Model Number: GSL25JFPA Brand: GE Age: 1 - 5 years
Two weeks ago everything in the freezer was so hard that the ice cream was too hard to scoop. I lowered the thermostat (set at 4) to 3, waited a day. Stlil same problem so lowered it again to 2. Beginning 3 days ago I noticed that the ice cream was soft so began increasing thermostat back to 3 - no change; got "frozen" pizza out but it was soft. Then changed to 4 - still no change. The icemaker works fine, and door is closed. The door is not opened often, and never opened for long. Help?
