side by side ice and water in door not cooling or freezing
Model Number: ED7FHEXM00 Brand: Whirlpool Age: 1 - 5 years
My fridge and freezer suddenly stopped working. We first noticed when we went for ice and it was really wet. Then upon further checking we found everything thawing out in the freezer and then the fridge section stopped cooling. No frost build up or anything unusual I could see.
The motor is running I think that is the compressor? What could the problem be? Should I just haul it on the trash heap and buy a new one? Last edited by Anna1441 : 06-26-2008 at 08:15 AM. Reason: more info
